DYLAN RILEY SNYDER. presently stars in Disney's XD's hit comedy series, "Kickin It," as Milton David Krupnick, an awkward honors student who enrolls in the Bobby Wasabi Dojo to study martial arts.
Dylan was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabmba, moving at age of six to Petal, Mississippi. Starting at the age of two, he walked the boards of theatres in both states performing in over twenty-five community, university and children's theatre productions. After his home in Mississippi was affected by Hurricane Katrina, Dylan and his mother were approached by a director who suggested moving to New York to try professional acting. At the age of nine and only in New York six months, Dylan signed with an agent and landed the lead role of Young Tarzan in Broadway's "Tarzan, the Musical." After 169 performances, Dylan next played the role of young Horton Foote in the critically acclaimed and award-winning Off-Broadway production "Orphans' Home Cycle" at the Signature Theatre.
Still in New York, Dylan made his debut in the award-winning short film, "Valley of the Moon." His next film was opposite Allison Janney In "Life During Wartime," winning Best Screenplay at the 2009 Venice Film Festival and becoming the official selection at the 2009 film festivals in Telluride, Toronto, and New York. In 2010, Dylan and the cast were nominated for "Best Ensemble Performance" at the Gotham Independent Film Awards.
Dylan moved to Hollywood in 2010 where he portrays "Milton" in Disney's XD series "Kickin It," now into its third season. Dylan splits his time between Los Angeles while working on "Kickin It" and his home in Mississippi, with frequent visits to his sister Cassidy and her family who reside in Alabama.
Dylan spends his off time working with many charities. He is the spokesman for the Relay for Recess program for the American Cancer Society and he serves as an Ambassador for the Lollipop Theatre Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing current movies to seriously ill children. He also regularly makes phone calls to hospitalized children through Famous Fone Friends, visits the two children's hospitals in Los Angeles at USC, is an active participant with the Boys and Girls Clubs Literacy Program for inner-city school-age children, and works with children from distressed situations in the program, Together We Rise.
